Peligent integrates with Google services to help you understand your website's performance. This page
explains how we access, use, store, and protect data received from Google APIs.
What Google Data We Access
When you connect your Google account to Peligent, we may access the following data depending on which services you choose to connect:
- Google Sign-In — your name, email address, and profile picture, used to create or sign in to your Peligent account
- Google Analytics — website traffic and engagement data (such as sessions, page views, and traffic sources) in read-only mode, displayed within your Peligent dashboard
- Google Search Console — search performance data (such as queries, impressions, clicks, and rankings) in read-only mode, displayed within your Peligent dashboard
How We Use This Data
We use data from Google APIs solely to provide and improve the features you see in your Peligent dashboard.
Specifically:
- We display your analytics and search data within the Peligent app so you can monitor your site's performance in one place
- We combine analytics data with your store data to calculate metrics like conversion rates
- We do not use Google data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing our services to you
How We Store and Protect This Data
We store only the minimum data required to maintain your connection and display reports:
- Connection credentials are encrypted at rest and in transit
- We never store your Google password
- Analytics and search data is fetched on demand and is not permanently stored on our servers
- When you disconnect a Google service, we remove all associated credentials from our systems
Limited Use Disclosure
